Our Global Link was established at St. John’s to help our children develop an understanding of the wider world and their place within it as global citizens who have an obligation to question and address inequality. Our Global Link also aims to teach our children that although there are differences between the way people live in different parts of the world, that there are many similarities that unite us. At St. John’s, we feel it is important that our children understand that charity isn't about 'giving to' others but 'being with them', standing with people in need, hearing and trying to address difficulties and inequalities.
One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, And He will repay him for his good deed. Proverbs 19:17
