Christian Values in Action
Christian Values in Action Tree
As a school, we talk frequently talk about how we are as people; what shapes our character. We talk about how our school's Core Christian Values shape our actions. To support everyone's understanding of this, we celebrate examples of children and adults showing these 'Christian Values in Action'. When we see someone showing Christian Values through their actions, we write their action onto a leaf and share these leaves in our Friday Celebration Collective Worship. These are then hung onto the tree for all to see in the main entrance.
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18

Christian Values in Action Murals
Our Year 3 and 4 children worked with local artist Ruth Fettis to create two murals, one entitled 'Wisdom' and one entitled 'Compassion'. The murals are now installed at the front of school so that parents and visitors are welcomed into our school by these two visual representations of our Christian Values Wisdom and Compassion. The children led each stage of the research, sketching, planning, drawing and painting.
