Online Safety
We value the importance of eSafety at St John's CE Primary.
Children at St John's use the Internet on a regular basis as part of their learning. In school, we have regular 'e-safety' activities to remind children of the importance of keeping themselves safe online.
The members of our Safeguarding Team can be found by clicking here.
Our e-Safeguarding Team is led by our Computing Subject Leader Emma Stitch. If you wish to contact them, please pop into the school office or contact the school office at enquiries@stj.bdat-academies.
At home, sometimes children can be given unsupervised access to the Internet. This, potentially, allows them to access all kinds of society (both good and bad) and bring them virtually into their homes. When letting children use websites, it is always worth checking the terms and conditions of the website - many websites have minimum ages - for example, Facebook has a policy which states you must be 13 or over to have an account.
