Talents and Interests
We offer our children access to a rich set of experiences across their school career. Subject leaders organise a variety of school trips (usually funded by the school) to enable all children to visit a variety of locations and venues or to experience specific activities. Children learn how to present themselves at such events and are taught any specific vocabulary or language they may need for such events.
To accompany these visits, children use a knowledge organiser to help them understand the language and specific vocabulary which would help them appreciate and understand the setting more.
We also hold an annual Talent Show where children are able to hone their talents with support from adults in school before performing their polished performance to the school community and families. Child may have developed an interest in these talents or interests during our weekly Wednesday after-school clubs open to all KS2 children.
Some of the clubs on offer often include:
- Korfball
- Choir
- Drumming
- Flute
- Nature detectives

- Eco warriors
